Falverre
Buyer’s guide
What this template is, what is invented in the demo, and where everything came from. This page is set to noindex; delete it or keep it, it is yours.
What this is
A template, not a wine estate.
Falverre is a demonstration. The estate, its address, its telephone number, its wines and its tastings are invented. Nothing here describes a real business, and no real business is named.
Replace the content and the photographs with yours. The layout, the type and the motion are the product.
The photographs
Unsplash, and they are not your room.
Every photograph in the demo is licensed under the Unsplash License: free for commercial use, no permission needed, attribution appreciated. The full credit list ships with the template.
They are photographs of real rooms and real bottles. Some labels in them belong to real producers and are nothing to do with this demo. Swap them for your own room before you publish.
The type
Two families, and no third.
Fraunces carries every display line, set with the studio’s optical-size rule (a lower opsz at display sizes, weight 700 at or under 26 px) so hairlines stay above 1.5 px on every ground. IBM Plex Mono carries everything else, including the prices and the hours. Both are in Framer’s library under the SIL Open Font License.
If you change one, change it in the text styles rather than on the page, and keep the pairing to two.
How it works
One clock, four systems, three components.
Every state on this site is derived at runtime from the CMS. Nothing is typed twice, and nothing has to be remembered on the day it changes. One shared timer per page drives all of it, and every component writes the state it resolved onto the element as a data attribute, so you can see it in the inspector.
The four systems are: the state of each wine, whether the cellar door is open, whether a tasting has places, and whether the estate is in harvest.
Collections
One record per cuvée and vintage. Cuvee, Colour, Grape, Parcel, Vintage, Note, Release, Bottles left, Allocation only, Library, Withdrawn, Door price, Member price, Tech sheet, Order.
One record per tasting. Name, Description, Duration, Price, Days, Time, Capacity, Places taken, Minimum party, Season from, Season to, Harvest only, Pause in harvest, Booking, Order.
One record. The estate, the timezone, the harvest window, the cellar door hours, closures, contact details, Visit Link (where Book a place goes when a tasting has no link of its own), Mailing List, the motion switch and the override.
Components
Modes: Cellar Door, Next Opening, Harvest Note, Mode Text, Gate. Reads the hours and the harvest window from Settings and answers whether you can visit.
Modes: Chip, Price, Row marker. Turns a release date and a bottle count into in barrel, current release, last cases, library, allocation only or sold out.
Modes: Chip, Button. Turns capacity minus places taken into places left, last places or fully booked, and knows about seasons and harvest.
Modes: Bar, Motion. The Bar is the demo’s colour switcher and is not part of your site: delete it. The Motion instance is bound to the Motion field in Settings.
Site Nav
The header on every page. Variants: Desktop, Phone, Phone Open, and Hero, Hero Phone, Hero Phone Open for the transparent header over the home photograph. The phone menu opens and closes on tap.
Submit Button
Variants: Default, Sending, Sent, Error. Every form uses it; change its label per form in the instance.
Form Redirect
An invisible code component inside each form. When Framer accepts a submission it sends the visitor to /thank-you. Change Redirect to, or delete it to keep the visitor on the page with the button’s Sent state.
The states, and where they come from
Release date is in the future. The price reads From and the release month.
Released, in stock, not library, not allocation.
Bottles left is at or under Low stock, which ships at 60.
The Library switch. Use it for an older vintage you have brought back.
The Allocation switch. The price is replaced by Join the list.
Bottles left is zero. The row stays at full strength; the chip says Sold out and the price is struck through.
A wine with no door price reads At the door only. It is never an empty cell.
The hours for today in Settings, read in the estate’s timezone. Closing at is the last thirty minutes.
The clock looks forward day by day and names the next day and time the door opens.
Today is inside the harvest window. The cellar door uses Harvest hours, and harvest-only tastings appear.
Pages
/ (home)
The estate at a glance: the wordmark, today’s cellar door and harvest line, the six wines with their states, the four tastings, the cellar, how to find it.
/wines
Every cuvée with its state, price and a link to its page. The library and the allocation, explained.
/wines/:slug
One page per wine, generated from the Wines collection: the grape, parcel, vintage, note, price, and the rest of the cellar.
/visit
The cellar door hours from Settings, the four tastings with their places, and the booking enquiry (anchor #book).
/estate
The story, the 1907 cellar, the four parcels, the people. Plain page content: edit it on the canvas.
/trade
Every wine for the trade, the terms, and the trade enquiry (anchor #enquiry).
/contact
Write, call, come; the mailing list (anchor #join) and a contact form.
/thank-you
Where every form sends the visitor. Not indexed.
/404
What an unknown address shows. Not indexed.
/guide
This page. Not indexed. Delete it or keep it; it is yours.
Forms
Four forms, and where they go.
The mailing list is in the footer of every page and again on Contact. The Visiting page has a booking enquiry, Trade has a trade enquiry, and Contact has a general form. Every field is labelled and every input is set at 16 px so a phone does not zoom.
Submissions arrive in Framer’s own form inbox. Turn on email notifications and spam protection in Site settings, Forms: that is one setting per site and the template cannot set it for you. To send them elsewhere, add your own endpoint in the same place.
After a submission the visitor goes to /thank-you. That is the Form Redirect component inside each form.
Links you set
Visit Link
Settings. Where Book a place and Ask for a cancellation go for any tasting without its own Booking link. Ships as /visit#book. Replace it with your booking system.
Mailing List
Settings. Where The mailing list goes. Ships as /contact#join. Replace it with your newsletter’s sign-up page if you use one.
Tech Sheet
Wines, per record. The PDF for that cuvée. Ships as /trade#enquiry so the Request buttons ask for it; upload a file or link one and they open it.
Anchors
#book on Visiting, #join on Contact, #enquiry on Trade. Keep an anchored section outside the page’s Settings list: Framer renames an anchor inside a collection list, and every link to it lands at the top of the page instead.
Current page
The header marks the page you are on. That is one short style in Site settings, Custom code, head, named falverre-current-page. Delete it and the header stops marking the page.
Two switches
Motion off, the demo colours, and the year.
Motion. Set Motion to off in Settings and every animation on the site stops, including Framer’s own appear effects. It is one field, and it is honest: nothing is left half moving. Visitors who ask their system for reduced motion get the same result without touching anything.
Colours and the year. The strip above the home page’s footer is part of the demo, not of the template. It swaps the eight colour tokens live, so you can see the layout in your own palette before you buy, and it walks the whole site through the harvest: Before, During and After force the phase for the visit (it follows you from page to page), Auto hands it back to the dates in Settings. Delete the Demo Bar layer and both go; the Motion Switch stays, because that one is yours.
What is hand kept, and what is not
The template does not pretend to be a booking system.
Bottles left and Places taken are numbers you edit. Nothing counts them for you, and the page says so where a visitor can see it. That is the honest version: a number you keep is better than a booking flow that lies.
Book a place hands off to whatever you already use: Tock, a form, or your own email. Put a tasting’s own link in its Booking field. A tasting without one uses Visit Link in Settings, which ships pointing at the booking enquiry on the Visiting page, so the button never leads nowhere.
Everything else derives itself: the states, the clock, the harvest window, and the way the site changes when the picking starts and stops.
Support
What you get after you buy.
Updates are free for the life of the template, through Framer’s own update mechanism. Fixes for anything broken ship as soon as they are found.
Support is by email, in English, within two working days. Send the URL of your site and what you expected to happen. Questions about Framer itself go to Framer; questions about these four systems come to us.
If a future Framer release changes how any of this behaves, the template is updated rather than abandoned.
The prompts
How the demo content and imagery were made.
This demo was written and assembled with an AI assistant working to a brief. The prompts that produced the estate, its wines, its copy and the image searches ship with the template as PROMPTS.md, so you can regenerate the demo in your own voice, or generate your own copy the same way.
Every photograph is Unsplash, credited in LICENSES.md. The grain over the colour blocks was generated for this template and belongs to you with it.
